Lauding Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and her Council of Ministers, Manmohan said her untiring efforts have propelled the State to the forefront of development at all levels, compared to other States.

“Yours is a progressive State and a role model in many respects for the rest of our country,” the Prime Minister said, lauding the development in the State.

This is a reflection of the Chief Minister’s ideology of making the State witness all-round development through ‘Vision 2025’, and her view that her government is committed to make Tamil Nadu a new model State among the other States, Manmohan added.

Union Finance Minister P Chidambaran offered felicitations.

Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Praful Patel welcomed the gathering.
