Opposition AIADMK has accused the ruling AINRC and Congress of enacting drama over the issue of repeated attacks on Puducherry and Tamil Nadu fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy .
Briefing newsmen here on Friday, AIADMK State secretary A Anbazhagan said that while Chief Minister, who had stated that he had written to Prime Minister for securing the release of the fishermen detained by the Lankan Navy, has so far not even made the copy of the letter available in public domain. This raises doubts on whether such a letter has been sent.
Anbazhagan flayed Narayanasamy for stating that it was the TN government’s role to organise a meeting of fishermen from TN and Sri Lanka along with officials for solution to the issue.
