Over 25,000 to appear for TET in Vellore

A total of 25,714 candidates including 11,937 from Vellore educational district and 13,787 from Tirupattur educational district are appearing for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) from Vellore district.

The district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the exams for two days in 44 centres on August 17 and 47 centres in August 18. Five special teams under the chief education officer, chief education officer-SSA, district education officer, district elementary education officer and inspector of matriculation schools have been formed to monitor the examinations.

Supervisors and invigilators have been strictly asked to follow the rules and regulations issued by the Teachers Recruitment Board. A consultative meet in this regard was convened by Collector P Sankar and director of TCB Thangamari.
