Ramadoss renews call for prohibition in TN

Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK)  founder S Ramadoss, in a statement on Friday,  urged the State government to shut down liquor shops in accordance with resolutions passed in Gram Sabha meetings in 2,000 villages in 12 districts on Independence Day. Ramadoss also urged all 12,524 village panchayats in TN to use the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti to pass resolutions calling for the imposition of Statewide prohibition.
