Cops on alert as TMMK gets threat letter

Police are on alert after the office of Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) here received an anonymous threat letter from Al Mun Faheem (AMF) Jamath, a little-known organisation. The City Police have sought the help of the Special Intelligence Cell to investigate the case.

The letter warns functionaries of TMMK of dire consequences if they provided information to police about people working with AMF.
