French delight for this rosary trio

It was their interest in mastering a foreign language that drove R Kavya, S Shruthi and P Jerusha, of Rosary Matriculation Higher Secondary School, to secure State ranks in French. They scored 99 each. “I just wanted to learn a new language. It was a bit stressful during exams,” said Kavya and Shruthi. Jerusha was scoring well in Tamil but opted for French as she dreamt of visiting Paris one day. Kavya stopped watching TV and Jerusha did not play the piano. All three scored centums in Maths and Social Science as well. Shruti wants to become a chartered accountant while Kavya wants to get into IITs. Jerusha is eyeing medicine.
