‘wellOrehab’, a fitness and physiotherapy centre here, has announced an essay contest ‘Ideas to transform Vellore into Wellore.’
Any citizen of the Fort City can participate in the contest which carries a total prize money of Rs 5,000, a communication from the centre said.
The write-up must focus on any issue of the historical city such as traffic management, security, civic amenities, healthcare and education and it must be pertaining specifically to the city of Vellore.
The write-up must be less than 500 words and should be forwarded to info@wellorehab.com with a subject line of ‘Vellore 2 Wellore.’ Hard copies will not be accepted.
Selected write-ups would be posted on the website http://www.wellorehab.com. The top five liked write-ups would be chosen by a panel of jury from Vellore.
The best chosen write-up will receive a cash prize of Rs 2,500 and the second and third write up will receive a cash prize of Rs1,500 and Rs 1,000, respectively. The last date to submit the write-up is June 30.
