More than 50 Members of Katpadi Railway Goods Shed Branch of the Vellore Maavatta Sumaipani Thozhilalargal Sangam held a protest on Wednesday at the Katpadi railway station and raised slogans demanding basic amenities such as drinking water and toilets, and also for identity cards and benefits like provident fund and bonus. The protestors were led by the Good Shed Sumaipani Sangam president, K Paramanandham and CITU’s district secretary N Kasinathan.
