Cases have been registered against five persons who allegedly assaulted and robbed cash from the driver of a TNSTC bus, at Alanganallur here on Monday.
C Jayaraman of Ellis Nagar, was driving to Alanganallur from the Periyar Bus Terminus on Saturday, when five persons picked up a quarrel with Jayaraman. They then assaulted the driver and robbed `150 from him and fled.
