Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Sunday led the State in paying homage to former Chief Minister CN Annadurai fondly known as ‘Perarignar Anna’ on his 105th birthday. The CM paid floral tributes at the statue of the late leader on Anna Road and released a souvenir to mark the occasion. Higher Education Minister P Palaniappan received the first copy of souvenir from her.
Almost all State Ministers, Chennai Corporation Mayor S Duraisamy, AIADMK presidium chairman, E Madhusudhanan, functionaries of the AIADMK , leaders of various wings of the party and large number of cadre also paid their homage to Anna.
