Trinamool Congress has decided to support AIADMK in the ensuing LS poll, said president of the party’s state unit MP Subramaniam.
After a flag hoisting function at Erode PS Park on Sunday, he told Express the party chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banarjee had already taken steps to align with the AIADMK in the LS poll. She would visit TN before the polls and hold discussions with the AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa.
He said his party was willing to contest in 3 Lok Sabha seats Erode, The Nilgiris and Tiruvallur.
