UK national dies in jumbo attack at MTR

A British tourist was killed in an elephant attack near Mudumalai Tiger Reserve (MTR) on Thursday.

Police said, Collin (69), a British national, was staying at a private resort in Singara forest range near the MTR. On Thursday a guide took him inside the forests for a trip. When the duo was  watching animals at Achanakarai, a wild elephant attacked the British tourist and seriously injured him.

Collin was rushed to the Government Headquarters Hospital at Gudalur where he was declared brought dead.
