DMK, MDMK, PMK Thank Tarun Vijay

CHENNAI: His love for Tamil has made former editor of RSS mouthpiece, Tarun Vijay, a darling of TN political parties, including those from the Dravidian shade. The DMK, MDMK and PMK on Tuesday hailed the efforts of the BJP MP from Uttarakhand for raising his voice in support of the language and urging  President Pranab Mukherjee to expedite steps for declaring Tamil for as an official language of Madras High Court.

MDMK general secretary Vaiko said by taking up the issue with the President,  Tarun Vijay had won the hearts of Tamils. In a statement here, Vaiko also hailed Vijay’s steps to celebrate the birthday of Tamil savant Tiruvalluvar in over 500 schools in North India.

Meanwhile, PMK founder S Ramadoss also hailed Tarun Vijay and urged the Centre to allow use of Tamil in Madras High Court. DMK’s organising secretary RS Bharathi too wrote a letter to Vijay thanking him for his move.
