Mahasabha to Decide on Godse Bust Installation in TN Today

ERODE: The Akila Baratha Hindu Maha Sabha has decided to take a call on erecting the statue of Nathuram Godse across the State at its general council to be held in Dindigul on Thursday.

Sabha’s national president Chadraprakash Kowsik, state president K Rajasekar and state general secretary P Sivakumar, will be the speakers at the meet. Congress cadre have submitted a petition to the SP seeking action on the sabha for pasting posters across district in support of erecting the statues.

TMMK district president Amir said that those who wanted to erect Godse’s statue might also ask the government to replace the picture of Gandhi from the currency with that of Godse. “Cases will be filed on those who pasted the posters ,” said Police Superintendent.
