Cong Sets Up Committees for LS Polls

Puducherry Pradesh Congress has constituted committees for the forthcoming LS polls and entrusted panels to MLAs and senior leaders of the party. The Assembly constituencies had been placed under experienced people, said Puducherry Pradesh Congress president A V Subramanian who released the list on Tuesday.

Puducherry Pradesh Congress has constituted committees for the forthcoming LS polls and entrusted panels to MLAs and senior leaders of the party. The Assembly constituencies had been placed under experienced people, said Puducherry Pradesh Congress president A V Subramanian who released the list on Tuesday.

Former CM M D Ramachandran is in-charge of Mannadipet, MLA C Jayakumar for Oussudu and Mangalam, A Namassivayam  for Villianur and Mudaliarpet, K Lakshminarayanan in-charge of Raj Bhavan and Muthialpet, former Minister V Pethaperumal for Kadirkamam and party general secretary Arumugham would look after the adjoining constituency of Indira Nagar.

Leader of the Opposition V Vaithilingam is in-charge of Kamaraj Nagar. Thattanchavady comes under PCC vice-president and former MLA V Balaji, Uppalam under PCC vice- president P K Devadoss, Nellithope under John Kumar.
