VIT Wins Best Univ Award for Second Year

The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) conferred the ‘Best University’ title on VIT University for the second consecutive year.

The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) conferred the ‘Best University’ title on VIT University for the second consecutive year.

The  award was conferred by Padma Vibhushan Dr Karan Singh, MP in New Delhi on February 19. VIT Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr S Narayanan received the award. The awardees were selected by a panel of jurists based on leadership, academic innovation, scalability, ability to overcome challenges, admission, collaboration with industry and foreign institutions, placement, faculty research and publications, accreditation, achievements and impact potential aspects. ASSOCHAM honours universities with titles such as ‘Best University’, ‘Best Government University’,  ‘Best Private University’ and ‘Best University in the Rural Area’.
