Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls,  Union Minister of State for MSME, K H Muniyappa, made efforts for uniting Union Minister V Narayanasamy and Chief Minister N Rangasamy on Saturday.

Speaking at a function at nearby Pillaichavady after laying the foundation of `100-crore MSME Technology Centre, Muniyappa advised them to shed their political differences and join hands to work together  for ensuring development of Puducherry.

What was obvious is that the Congress is desirous of the support of Rangasamy for contesting the Puducherry Lok Sabha seat.

Citing the MSME Technology Centre and the Rs 40 crore Flower and Fragrance Park on the anvil, Muniyappa said that projects are getting materialised due to the coordinated efforts of both Narayanasamy and Rangasamy and urged them to complement each other in the works.

“While Narayanasamy has been pursuing the projects with the concerned ministries, Rangasamy is providing the land and other support. If they are together, no one can stop development of Puducherry,” he said.

He reiterated three times that both Narayanasamy and Rangasamy should join hands together for development of Puducherry. What went unsaid is that the unity should also continue for Lok Sabha elections.
