The Puducherry Legislative Assembly will be convened on March 12. According to a communiqué from assembly secretary S Mohandass, vote on accounts for meeting the expenditure requirement for the first four months is likely to be passed during the session. However, there is no clarity if the session would begin with the Lieutenant Governor’s customary address, this being the opening session this year.
