VELLORE: DMK union secretary for Anaicut was arrested and remanded in judicial custody in connection with red sanders-smuggling case on Tuesday. Police said the arrested Babu, aged about 35, was picked for inquiry two days ago. On interrogation, police found he was part a network indulging in red sanders- smuggling. Following this, Vellore Taluk police registered a case against him.
