Country-made Bomb Goes off, Injures Youth

A 29-year-old man sustained serious injuries on his hands when he tried to plant a country-made bomb to kill a wild boar in Patharapalli police station limits on Sunday.

A 29-year-old man sustained serious injuries on his hands when he tried to plant a country-made bomb to kill a wild boar in Patharapalli police station limits on Sunday.

D Puniyakotti a resident of Kannavaimottur near Stiramoatti tried to plant the country-made bomb in his  farmland to kill wild animals. However, the bomb exploded unexpectedly.

Following this, Puniyakotti was admitted to a private hospital.

The police officials registered a case and began investigations.
