VIT University, in association with the Forum for Electoral Integrity (FEI), Youth Exnora and Election Commission of India (ECI) has organised a panel discussion on ‘Electoral Integrity’ on Thursday, at Dr M Chenna Reddy Auditorium on the university campus.

Veteran parliamentarian Era Chezhian will chair the discussion while VIT chancellor G Viswanathan will preside over . The panelists include former election officers T S Krishnamoorthy, N Gopalsami, chief electoral officer of Tamil Nadu Praveen Kumar, professor Tarlochan Sastry, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Nisha Thota, general secretary of Youth Exnora and M G Devasahayam, convener of the FEI.

Meanwhile, about 150 faculty members, administrative staff and students participated in the investor awareness programme on ‘personal financial planning,’ jointly organised by the Business School attached to  VIT University and Ambalal Shares and Stocks Private Limited at the university campus here recently, which was inaugurated by VIT vice- president Sankar Viswanathan.

Amirtha Bhat, Director, Investwise (P) Ltd, Bangalore, spoke on requirements of financial planning in contemporary times.
