260 from TN Clear UPSC Main

A total of 260 candidates from Tamil Nadu have cleared the Civil Services(Main) Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commision (UPSC) and have qualified for the Personality Test phase of the selection process.

With 1080 IAS, IFS, IPS and other civil service posts up for grabs this year, candidates from Tamil Nadu constitute one-tenth of the 3003 candidates who have been selected to attend the Personality Test from across the country.

The personality tests will be conducted from April 7 according to a notification from the UPSC and qualified candidates will be intimated on the date and time of their test individually.

The Civil Services preliminary examination saw 6 lakh candidates attend, of which, around 12,000 qualified for the Mains.
