Governor K Rosaiah has called upon the students to face every challenge with sincere efforts and convert their dreams into reality.  He was delivering the 12th Graduation Day address at the C Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology at Melvisharam on Tuesday.

“You are capable of achieving and you are born to achieve,” he told the students. The knowledge gained should be used for the welfare of society, the State and the nation,” he added.

Underlining the need for the educational institutions to maintain standards of education, he urged them to play a participatory role in moulding the citizens of tomorrow. Rosaiah said education coupled with good conduct and character builds up an individual.

 “You owe a lot to society. Make your parents, your family, your institution, your State and the nation proud,” Rosaiah added. Around 550 boys and girls received the graduation certificates on the occasion.

College correspondent V M Abdul Latheef welcomed the gathering. Collector Nanthagopal, RDO Priyadharshini and college principal Dr A Kumar were among others  were present.
