School Education Minister K C Veeramani, who chaired a consultative meeting of cadre and functionaries, to plan the strategies of poll campaigning on Wednesday here, appealed to party cadre to meet people and explain the benefits of various welfare schemes being implemented by Chief Miniter J Jayalalithaa, while seeking votes for the party candidate B Senguttuvan in Vellore constituency.
The Minister also introduced the candidate on the occasion.
The Minister urged the cadre to take up grievances with poll managers in person and privately. Mayor Karthiyayini, MLA Vijay and Vellore constituency secretary C K Sivaji were present.
