Durai Murugan, former Minister and senior leader of DMK, appealed to  ensure victory for his ‘brother’ and IUML candidate Abdul Rahman. He was addressing the party workers’ meeting at Vaniyambadi on Friday.

“I had sought two tickets from my family to contest from  Vellore — one for my son (Kadir Anand) and other for my younger brother Abdul Rahman. But party high command decided to allot the seat to my brother. I request you to ensure victory for my brother,” he said.
