CPI Campaign Commences

The CPI candidate R Viswanathan, with the support of other Left parties on Monday began campaigning for the polls, ahead of major political parties.

Along with Nara Kalainathan, national council member of CPI V Perumal, state secretary of CPM, Forward Bloc leader Muthu and Lenin of RSP, he campaigned in three constituencies. He met voters of Kanagachettikulam, Kalapet, Muthialpet and Kamaraj Nagar villages. He called on the archbishop of Puducherry and Cuddalore Anantharayer and sought support.
