No Load Shedding for Now in Tamil Nadu

TNEB officials disclosed that there won’t be any load shedding in the state for the foreseeable future, even during peak hours.

With four mega power units reaching maximum capacity power generation on Monday, TNEB officials disclosed that there won’t be any load shedding in the state for the foreseeable future, even during peak hours. Two 600 MW units in North Chennai and two 500 MW units at Vallur are now running at maximum capacity. With North Chennai units generating 1100 MW and Vallur 990 MW, power generated has come up by 2090 MW to 12,240 MW.
