Kalki to Try her Luck from Villupuram

A transgender is all set to contest the Villupuram (SC) seat in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections on April 24.

Kalki, who hails from Pollachi and now living in Kottakkarai near Auroville has decided to enter the poll fray from Villupuram constituency.  “To bring an end to the sufferings of transgenders and to take up issues faced by the women, I have decided to contest the seat,” she said at a press conference.
