TNIE Edu Expo a Hit in Tiruchy

Over 1,000 students participated in the two-day Education Expo 2014, organised by Express Publications Madurai Limited, held here on Saturday.

Students aspiring for higher education and their parents thronged the exhibition, which was inaugurated by Siddharth Sonthalia, Assistant General Manager- Tamil Nadu, TNIE and he urged the students to utilise this opportunity to decide their career, which helps to transform their status to the next level.

About 50 stalls have been established by educational institutions including Sastra University, MAM Group of Institutions, Periyar Maniammai University in the expo which provided useful information to the students.

This Education expo is aimed to provide a great opportunity to the students aspiring for higher education, to look at the various options available to them, which meets their needs and ambitions, all under one roof. The expo brings together the entire particulars of courses on offer as well as the opportunity to interact with academicians and representatives of different institutes across the state.

Veterans in the field of education like Dr V Badrinath, Director of Training and Placement and Dean- School of Management, SASTRA university, Thanjavur, A Srinivasan, Founder, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Group of Educational Institutions, Perambalur, K Ramakrishnan, Chairman, K Ramakrishnan Group of Educational institutions, Samayapuram, Dr MA Maluk Mohammed, MAM group of institutions, Siruganur delivered their special address and guided students on securing admissions to their desired courses.
