CHENNAI: A 52-year-old civil contractor and his wife allegedly murdered his brother following a property dispute at Kolathur on Sunday night, police said.
Muralikrishna and Grace were arrested for killing his brother Rangarajan, 43, a cab driver.
Rangarajan had been reportedly staying in the ancestral property at Ganesh Nagar at Kolathur, which had been an issue with the two families. Muralikrishna and Grace, both living in Krishnagiri, had visited Rangarajan last week for holding talks about the property. They returned on Sunday to resume the talks and the siblings consumed liquor after that, following which, Muralikrishna stabbed his brother. A case of murder was slapped against the couple.
