COIMBATORE: A Sharjah-bound Air Arabia flight with 120 passengers onboard was grounded here today following a bird hit, minutes after it took-off from the city airport.
The pilot noticed that the engine side suffered the bird hit and immediately returned the flight here at 4.45 am, police said.
The passengers have been accommodated in different hotels and the flight was likely to leave later today, they said.
