MADURAI: The Madurai Bench of Madras High Court granted anticipatory bail to former Union minister M K Alagiri in connection with the land grab case.
Justice K Kalyanasundaram, who earlier reserved the orders on Alagiri’s anticipatory bail petition, allowed his plea by imposing conditions. The judge directed the ex-union minister to sign before the police until further orders. The case relates to a plot of land which was owned by a temple and reportedly grabbed for Dhaya engineering college.
