TN: Army Cook Held for Harassing Woman Train Passenger

SALEM: A 26-year old Army cook was today arrested here on the charge of sexually harassing a woman passenger onboard an express train, police said.

A R Ajith, who had got married only ten days ago, was travelling by the Bangalore-Thiruvananthapuram Kochuvelli Express when he allegedly made sexual advances at the 22-year old woman.

Unable to bear the harassment, the woman complained to the Railway Police as soon as the train reached Salem Junction.

Railway police arrested the man and produced him before a court which remanded him to 15 days judicial custody, police said.
