CHENNAI:Taking strong exception to the remarks of leader of Viswa Hindu Parishad Ashok Singhal that all mosques would be converted into temples if the construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya is prevented, PMK founder S Ramadoss demanded strong action against him.
“The irresponsible shower of words from Sangh Parivar and the government remaining a mute witness to these are not good for our country. Though Modi had twice insisted that liberty of all religions will be protected and none should utter words that could damage religious harmony, Ministers under him and BJP MPs are not heeding it. This is proof enough that the power an influence of Hindu extremists had grown over the Prime Minister”, he said in a statement here.
Ever since Modi government came to power at the Centre, the Sangh Parivar cacaphony had become louder threatening religious harmony in the country, the PMK leader added.
