COIMBATORE: The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation will conduct a survey on unincorporated enterprises and non-agricultural enterprises, said G Sivasubramanian, deputy director general, NSSO West Tamil Nadu region. This is the 73rd round of the sample survey which will be held between June 30-July 1.
At the national level, data will be collected from 16,350 villages and urban blocks. In Tamil Nadu (West) region, NSSO will undertake the survey in approximately 420 villages and urban blocks.
There are around 44.67 lakh labourers from Tamil Nadu and around 120 from Coimbatore. A total fund of Rs 100 crore has been allotted for the survey. There will be a training camp held for participants. D Nandakumar, President, The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore will inaugurate the training camp.
