Conference on Compulsory Internship Held

COIMBATORE:A conference on Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI)programme for MBBS students was held at Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Friday. It was organised by the Department of Surgery, CMCH and Association of Surgeons of India (Coimbatore Chapter).

As many as 150 students participated in the camp in which many experts shared their experiences with the students.

Demonstration of small surgical procedures and live demonstration of surgeries were held as part of the camp.

CRRI refers to one-year compulsory practice in a hospital attached to a medical college or in any other approved hospital.

"It was a good experience and would definitely help us once we start practicing,” said Karthik, a student.
