Help Desk for Supplementary Examinations

VELLORE: The district education department has set up special examination service centres to help students who have failed in their tenth and plus-two board examinations and are planning to appear for the supplementary examinations in October 2015.

According to a communication from the chief educational officer, the service centres would function at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Katpadi, Muzar Ul Uloom Higher Secondary School in Ambur, Ramakrishna Higher Secondary school in Tirupattur and Hindu Higher Secondary school in Vaniyambadi (all in Tirupattur educational district), Corporation Girls higher Secondary school in Thottapalayam, Vellore, Government Higher Secondary school in Ranipet and St Andrews Higher Secondary school in Arakonam (all in Vellore Educational district).

Both boys and girls can use all centres except Ramakrishna Higher Secondary school in Tirupattur and Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School in Thottapalayam which are reserved for girl candidates only, for uploading their applications online.

While for higher secondary supplementary examination, the online registration is open between August 13 and 19, for the tenth, it is open between August 17 and 26, said the release.
