MADURAI: A day after four inmates of the Madurai Observation Home for Boys and Girls managed to give police guards and the warden the slip after attacking them, the officials nabbed three of them and brought them back on Friday.
In a late development, the guardians of one of the nabbed boys brought him back to the facility after he managed to reach his home in Ramanathapuram district, sources said.
Early on Friday, seven inmates of the home, led by two boys, who had been brought back on Thursday after they escaped, attacked four police personnel and a warden before escaping from the main gate.
Earlier, the group had vandalized the facility by breaking a television, utensils and burning bed sheets.
