CHENNAI:The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) is planning to engage a proven technology partner for measuring digital readership numbers recognising the increasing importance of digital advertisements and its growing revenue potential.
With smart phone usage penetrating most markets, ABC realises the growing clout of digital advertisements, noted bureau secretary H B Masani in a statement. As a result ABC which has played a leading role in print-readership measurement for the past 67 years has decided to take up the additional role of measuring digital- readership numbers.
Digital measurement services offered by ABC will be available to all digital sites that desire to get their readership numbers measured on proven measurement principles in a transparent manner. In an attempt to ensure that the measurement data is accurate and reflects true readership numbers, the entire process will be controlled and audited.
