VELLORE: A 28-year-old IT employee from Jharkhand allegedly committed suicide possibly after learning that his two kidneys had failed and was found hanging in a lodge room on the Arcot-Vellore Road on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Rajesh Prasai, who was an IT employee. He was staying alone in a lodge near the CMC Hospital. He had been undergoing treatment for the last one year in the private hospital, according to Vellore North Police Station personnel.
When the staff of the lodge informed police that Prasai had not come out of his room all morning and was not responding to their calls, the police broke open the window and found him hanging from the ceiling.
