I'm Physically the Most Fit: Anbumani

CUDDALORE: Anbumani Ramadoss, who had hitherto pegged his poll campaign on total prohibition and graft-free governance, on Friday made physical fitness a poll plank in the run-up to the Assembly election. The PMK’s chief ministerial candidate claimed that of the four major claimants to the top post in the State, he was the only one in top shape.

Anbumani was addressing voters during an Ungal Oor, Ungal Anbumani programme, organised at the townhall here. The PMK chief ministerial candidate interacted with the voters and discussed their aspirations and difficulties. The former Union minister said, “In the 50 years under the Dravidian rule, TN has been spoiled by liquor and corruption. There is a need for a change. Only PMK can effect that change.”

Bringing physical fitness into focus, the PMK leader said, “In foreign countries, people first assess the physical fitness of their leaders to ascertain whether they will be quick in coming to their aid. Among the four chief ministerial candidates in Tamil Nadu, I alone have good physical fitness. A few days ago, I participated in a 10-km marathon in Chennai.”
