BJP Will Prove Poll Surveys Wrong: Tamilisai

CHENNAI: Seeking to downplay opinion polls which gives BJP no seats in the Assembly elections, BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan on Saturday said the BJP would prove the opinion poll surveys wrong and would create a significant impact in the upcoming elections.

Talking to reporters at the party headquarters here, Tamilisai said in this election, elimination of corruption would be the core issue and BJP alone is fit to usher a change in Tamil Nadu.

“While the DMK-Congress front has already been rejected by the people, the Pandavar Ani is facing differences from within. And there is an anti-incumbency wave. In all, people will understand that BJP alone can provide good governance. So people will vote for the BJP-led NDA”, she added.

Tamilisai said the second list of candidates will be finalised on April 4 and the party was making efforts to release it soon.

Later, in the evening,  at a public function,  P Muralidar Rao, BJP in-charge of Tamil Nadu  and Tamilisai released the audio and video CDs for the election campaign .
