'Fabricated Exit Poll Result No New Thing'

NAGERCOIL: The rich are creating exit poll results according to their convenience, said Union Minister of State for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping, Pon Radhakrishnan, in Nagercoil on Sunday.

Talking to the media on the sidelines of a party meeting, Pon Radhakrishnan said that exit poll results are favouring both the Dravidian parties repeatedly and this will continue further. “The rich are fabricating exit poll results according to their convenience. All the exit poll surveys taken during the last elections have failed. There is no ground to believe these results. They are being prepared to fool the Tamil people,” he claimed.

According to the minister, the political parties in the DMDK-PWA alliance are having differences of opinion among themselves. They are not in the frame of mind to accept one another, he said. “It is a big question whether the alliance will last up to the elections,” said Radhakrishnan in response to a query.

The minister said that the 50 years of dark rule by the Dravidian parties would end only if the BJP is elected. “The people are eagerly waiting for this,” he stated.

Stressing  the need for increased vigilance by the Election Commission, he alleged that government vehicles were being used for transporting money.
