CHENNAI: With end of semester exams of Anna University currently underway, final year students of ECE stream have complained of a glaring error in the question paper for an elective subject.
On Monday, 8th semester students appeared for the examination on ‘Wireless Network’. In question number 11 of part B, they were to answer a 16 mark question from two listed under it. However, the same question was repeated twice, thereby denying the option.
Sandhya B Vedullapalli, a parent, said, “The elective is popular among students. The mistake has affected the students to a large extent.” Meanwhile, several students have taken to social media to highlight the issue.
When contacted, an Anna university official said a scrutiny board would evaluate the mistake. “In the event of a mistake on our part, full marks would be given to those who attempted the question.” the official added.
