She warned the people it was now or never and added  that if  people do not want her , she will not be in Raj Nivas.

PUDUCHERRY: Puducherry Lieutenant Kiran Bedi today said that she would quit as Lieutenant Governor  if people did not cooperate in making Puducherry clean by October .

“ I resolve very clearly . Either I succeed or go back. I will pack my bags and leave .You will not see me again ”, she said  at a marathon organised by JIPMER as part of socio cultural festival `Spandan’ on Sunday. ." Raj Nivas is an office and not my  home; it is work and `seva'" , said Bedi.

If people wanted a better, healthy and clean Puducherry they have to take up the responsibility for keeping clean  their areas, school, colleges, residential areas , colonies , surroundings  . Together there should be a movement to clean the streets, said Bedi.

She said that she was the first lieutenant Governor who was not here for a job, but on a mission mode. ‘ If the mission is not completed I will go back.”, she said    “If I  went back , there would be no one coming back to pull you out”, she said.

She warned the people it was now or never and added  that if  people do not want her , she will not be in Raj Nivas.
