DINDIGUL:A suspected woman Maoist was produced before a Judicial Magistrate, eight hours before the completion of 48 hours given for police interrogation here on Sunday. The ‘Q’ Branch Police recently arrested Reena Joyce Mary in Kancheepuram district, after they suspected her role in the  alleged arms training conducted at Kodaikanal hills in 2008, when another Maoist Naveen Prasath was spotted by the police and killed. She was earlier lodged at the Vellore Central Prison. Based on a request, the Judicial Magistrate Court II on Friday allowed the ‘Q’ Branch Police to take her into their custody for two days. But even before the time was over on Sunday, she was produced amid tight security before the Judicial Magistrate Balamurugan, who adjourned the case to September 7 and directed the police to sent Mary back to the Vellore Central Prison.
