Hosp refuses notes, makes patient stay put

MADURAI: A patient was not allowed to go home from a private hospital even three days after being certified as fit for discharge. And, the reason is nothing beyond imagination. They refused to accept demonetised notes, despite government’s specific order to the hospitals. “I was not allowed to leave even my room. It was so depressing,” the patient, hailing from Karungalakudi, told Express.
