Buoyed by the entry of former minister R S Raja Kannappan into their fold, Panneerselvam appealed to party veterans to join AIADMK-PT Amma to end the domination of Sasikala’s family in the party and the government. Talking to reporters, he said when the doubts over the death of the late CM Amma had been lingering in the minds of about 10 crore Tamils across the globe, the family (Sasikala) has been ruining the party and government. “They are betraying Amma. So, all the veteran leaders who had worked during the period of MGR and Jayalalithaa must come forward to join us to win the ‘dharma yudham’ against the family”, he added.
