VILLUPURAM: Amidst protests intensifying in Tirupur against the shifting of Tasmac outlets and police resorting to lathicharge, a call has gone out from the Tamil Nadu Vanigar Sangankalin Peramaippu president to promote online liquor trade. A M Vikrama Raja asserted that the Tamil Nadu government should promote online liquor sale, which is the only way to avert brutal attacks on people protesting on streets.
Raja was here to appraise the preparatory work for the upcoming India Vaniga Valarchi Manadu that will be organised by the association on May 5.
