CHENNAI: Amid the rumble in the State’s political turf, including the moves within the AIADMK and the demand from opposition parties to drop Health Minister C Vijaya Basker following the the recent I-T raids, Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao arrived here on Monday. “The governor has a few programmes on Monday and Tuesday. But so far no political appointments,” Raj Bhavan sources said.  Governor Rao attended INS Chennai reception on Monday, and is scheduled to attend the Tech 2017 award function at Anna University on Tuesday. Last week, DMK’s senior leader Durai Murugan and others met the Governor at Mumbai and submitted a memorandum to him. They sought the dismissal of the government headed by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on charges of corruption.
